Cricket Tour 2009

I am looking at organising a tour for the 2009 season which is likely to be in June/July and will more than likely be whilst schools are on holiday. My initial thoughts are Blackpool area as I understand that the cricket is good and the nightlife excellent....

My thoughts on structure are:

1. Depart Sunday (am)

2. Sunday (pm) - Arranged activity

3. Monday - Cricket Match

4. Tuesday - Cricket Match

5. Wednesday - Golf Tournament & Dinner

6. Thursday - Cricket Match & ...

4th XI in 2008

Following approval of the introduction of a 4th XI this year to get ready for entry into the league in 2009 and following the news that several clubs are interested in organising games this year. Do we think that the NEW occasional player membership will help to generate availability?

Predicition:

3s player to score first century this season and 3s playerto take first 7 wicket haul. 1s and 2s to buy beer all night for 3s players when this happens.

Jamie Hamilton to get a score into double figures by August.Will take a ton of wickets tho.

Football on our lovely outfield

Hello fellas,

I was down the club on saturday and sunday, and was alarmed to see that both football matches were being played on critical areas of our outfield, which, by the way, has been in excellent nick for the last couple of years. I have played at Dorking CC where footie is played on the outfield, and the result is quite frankly dangerous once the summer comes and hardens the divots.

Surely we could get them to play lengthways on the area in front of the copse for 1 pitch, and ...

Advanced Tickets for Royal Ascot Day (20th June)

The event last year was a great success I shall be looking to send out booking forms and promotional information for this event in the next couple of weeks.
